Support in Purbeck expands with two new drop-in spaces
Access Wellbeing has opened two additional drop-in spaces in Purbeck, further extending free mental health and wellbeing support across the area.
The new Access Wellbeing drop-in spaces in Wool and Lytchett Minster & Upton offer welcoming spaces where people can find support and a listening ear.
There’s no need to book – anyone aged 18 and over can simply drop in during opening hours. The friendly team will take the time to listen, and can help people find the support that’s right for them, whether that’s for mental health and emotional difficulties, or worries about practical topics such as money, housing or work.
Nicci Mansfield-Jones, Wellbeing Coordinator for Access Wellbeing in Purbeck, said: “We know that life’s pressures can affect people in very different ways, and it isn’t always easy to know where to turn. By opening more Access Wellbeing drop-in spaces across Purbeck, we’re making it easier for people to access support closer to home, in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
“Our approach is person-centred – whatever someone is dealing with, we’re here to listen and help them explore the right next steps. We can also walk alongside people as they access help from other services, whether that’s for mental health challenges, money worries, housing concerns, relationship challenges or anything else that feels overwhelming.”

Access Wellbeing has opened new drop-in spaces in Upton & Lytchett Minster and Wool.
