Places and Spaces

Access Wellbeing provides free mental health and wellbeing support through hubs and drop-in spaces around Dorset. There are three larger hubs based in Boscombe, Poole and Weymouth, which are open five days a week, and over 30 drop-in spaces in community venues, which operate on different days of the week. We also offer a new online drop-in service on Wednesdays from 10am-4pm.

All our Access Wellbeing spaces offer a welcoming place to find support, with no appointment or referral needed. They are open to anyone aged 18 and over, and are staffed by friendly wellbeing coordinators who are ready to listen, whatever’s on your mind. Read more about the support we can provide here.

What can Access Wellbeing teams help with?

Sometimes when you’re worried or struggling, it can be hard to know where to turn.

Access Wellbeing offers a safe, welcoming space where you can talk about what’s going on in your life and get the right support.

Our friendly wellbeing coordinators have the time to listen. Together, we’ll explore what matters to you, and help you find emotional and practical support that works for you. You know your life best. We’re here to help you find your way forward.

You can talk to us about anything, big or small, including:

  • Mental health and emotional wellbeing
  • Feeling lonely, isolated or disconnected
  • Grief, loss and bereavement
  • Work, money, housing or benefits
  • Support for carers, family members and loved ones

Because we’re closely connected to local charities, community groups, NHS teams and council services, we can help you access the right support and, where helpful, walk alongside you while you do.

We’re not a counselling service or a crisis service – but we are here to listen.

Support is open to anyone aged 18 and over, with no referral or appointment usually needed.
